Now that spring allergy victims are finally feeling relief from the diminishing tree and grass pollen, along comes the start of the ragweed pollen season. Ragweed starts blooming in mid-August and the pollen released from ragweed is the airborne pollen allergen most responsible for late summer and early fall allergy symptoms. Each plant only survives one season, but during that time can put out as many as 1 billion grains of pollen and travels up to 400 miles. This continues until frost kills the ragweed plant off sometime in the late fall. COMPOSITION
